High school

The American High School serves pupils in grades 9 through 12. Students in grades 11 and 12 have the option to select their own courses based on their interests, skills, and desired careers. The SAT, ACT, EST, and TOEFL are taken by students. While French language students take the DELF A1 in year 7 and the DELF A2 in year 9, German language students take the FIT1 in year 7 and the FIT2 in year 9. Following the national curriculum established by the Ministry of Education, Arabic, religion, and civics are taught. The national examination in Arabic, religion, and civics is a must for all Egyptian students seeking admission to colleges.

As educators and professionals, we never stop learning and applying constructive techniques. We constantly quiz our pupils on their knowledge and challenge them to think critically and creatively. We help them set personal goals and offer career and real-life knowledge to every one of our pupils in order for them to able to get out into the real world where they will become highly motivated citizens aware of their responsibilities and confident in their ability to succeed.

Performing Arts

At Golden Modern School The Crown, performing arts will form an integral part of the education programme. All children will be encouraged to participate to help develop confidence, creative thinking, public speaking and social skills.

From the challenges of learning a musical instrument, the courage and confidence needed to perform in Drama and Dance, the intellectual and linguistic expertise used to write poetry and the creative process of painting; all of these activities have an important role to play in a child’s education.

Major annual drama and musical productions will be staged each year, ensuring that students have ongoing opportunities to exercise their talents in theatre, song and dance.

Sport

Sport will be an integral feature of life at King’s School The Crown where students will be encouraged to develop their physical, mental and social wellbeing.
